For 15  years I was employed in Brighton and Hove NHS GP practices as a Counsellor. I offer individual brief/long term counselling/psychotherapy/lifecoaching and welcome

clients from all walks of life, ethnicity, faiths and beliefs. Clients are offered acceptance, empathy and respect. As a non judgemental therapist I believe in developing a relationship built on trust. My work is confidential,  interactive and always deeply hearing and supportive of my clients through their therapeutic journey. 

My experience is wide ranging and includes working with low confidence/self-esteem, depression/low mood, post natal depression, anxiety/stress related issues, panic attacks, anger management, assertion, bullying, work/career and relationship issues, physical/emotional/sexual abuse, difficulty making decisions, loneliness, self harming, disturbing thoughts/memories, family problems, seasonal affective disorder (SAD), affairs and betrayals, separation/divorce, bereavement, loss, childbirth and other life changing events.

As a qualified humanistic therapist my core model is person centred underpinned by an integrative framework which includes transactional analysis and mindfulness cognitive therapy. 

Previously registered with the Dr Edward Bach Foundation, I am a holistic therapist who qualified in aromatherapy and reflexology prior to my counselling training. 

Whilst living in Australia I studied full time in childcare, and the course placed a strong emphasis on child psychology. Since that time I have continued my professional development in this area and am experienced in assisting parents dealing with various behavioural challenges with their children.  

I have CRB clearance and as an accredited member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, work to their ethical guidelines.
